We offer a great 1950's atmosphere while serving breakfast and lunch. We have been family owned and operated since 1956! No one is a stranger here. HISTORY
Bill Smith's Cafe is a one-of-a-kind culinary establishment with a menu inspired by the idea of simple and honest cooking. Since in 1956 we have stayed true to Bill Sr. and Jeanette's original recipes that have sated and pleased people's hungry tummies over 60 years.
Bill Smith Jr. took over the cafe 30 years ago and has continued his parent's tradition of serving great food to the city of Mckinney's residents, as well as many from surrounding areas and world wide visitors.
To new beginnings,
As Bill has moved to Van Alstyne, Tx, He is ready to begin again. So by great demand! Bill is opening a new Cafe in Van Alstyne in December 2023.
Come and enjoy the new building with the same great food you've enjoyed for 66 years.
You can find Bill Jr. daily, either cooking or talking fishing with his life long friends at one of our tables. If you don't see him, he is most likely fishing out of country.
